Vaciando el Espacio
This proposal for an urban garden establishes an artificial space, interior and livable, from creating a void in a natural landscape.
Starting from a dense forest made of bamboo and birch, three access points are created that extend to the city, relating the surroundings with the new garden. The combination
of these new paths generate a space, a void in the forest. This new space, white, contrasts with the original landscape.
This project is an exercise that explores the spacial relationships between the natural and artificial spaces created and its users. An urban garden that, beyond the visual
relationship, is ment to be playful and explored by the visitors.
This proposal was submitted to the second edition of BilbaoJardín 2009.
