Shanghai Transforming @ VT

After being exhibited at the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the exhibition Shanghai Transforming travelled to the School of Architecture + Design at Virginia Tech. The exhibition, curated by Iker Gil, features graphics, photographs, and maps in order to analyze the past and speculate about the future of a city in transition. By approaching Shanghai from the perspectives of economy, culture, and politics, Shanghai Transforming delivers a multifaceted study of city building.

As part of the exhibition, Iker Gil lectured on Shanghai at the Building Cities lecture series.
