Iker Gil will participate in FIELD NOTES, “a platform for dialogue among students at Chicago design institutions (SAIC, IIT, UIC) and to expand the lens through which they evaluate and access opportunities.”

“FIELD NOTES will be structured as a series of exchanges among students at Chicago design institutions and design professionals, engaging participants in thinking about alternative architectural practices and broadening their perceptions of the profession in current culture.”

Iker will participate in the “Architect as storyteller” session that focuses on the role of art, publishing, and curatorial work alongside research and education. Other participants include Peter Exley, Randy Mattheis, Stephen Wierzbowski, and Jordan Mozer
