After participating in the first edition of FIELD NOTES, Iker Gil will participate in the second edition. FIELD NOTES is “a platform for dialogue among students at Chicago design institutions (SAIC, IIT, UIC) and to expand the lens through which they evaluate and access opportunities.”

“FIELD NOTES will be structured as a series of exchanges among students at Chicago design institutions and design professionals, engaging participants in thinking about alternative architectural practices and broadening their perceptions of the profession in current culture.”

Iker will participate in the “Architect as Narrator” session that gives attention to the role of research, theory, writing and thinking in the practice of architecture. Other participants include Odile Compagnon, Lluis Ortega, Antonio Petrov, and Zehra Ahmed.
