Iker Gil, guest speaker at Chicago Publi©ity Lab

SAIC GFRY Publi©ity Studio

Iker Gil will be a guest speaker at Chicago Publi©ity Lab: Exploring Collaborative City Making and Local Policy, a public think tank organized by the School of the Art Institute’s GFRY Publi©ity Studio directed by Peter Exley and Drea Howenstein.

This think tank is intended to take stock of how Chicagoans are imagining change. Our increasingly interrelational, co-dependent world requires new forms of co-evolution. The thinkers, designers, and makers participating in this session will speculate on the future of this city as they bring forward ideas ranging from infrastructure and architecture to the natural landscape and social institutions. Coordinated by the SAIC GFRY Publi©ity Studio, presenters at the event include local thinkers that frame key issues in ecological and social resilience and capacity building.

This event is presented in conjunction with the exhibition News from Nowhere: Chicago Laboratory.
