Iker Gil will be part of the Skill-Exchange Show and Tell Session on June 1st as part of the opening weekend events organized to accompany the exhibition Spontaneous Interventions: Design Actions for the Common Good.
Moderated by Mimi Zeiger, participants such as Robyn Paprocki (Moving Design), Douglas Burnham (envelope a+d), and Connie Spreen (Experimental Station) “will gather and share objects that relate to their practices. In this sociable roundtable-style exchange, designers and artists will present lessons they have learned in their projects using the objects as a prompt, and the public is invited to mingle with the participants and ask questions.”
Spontaneous Interventions: Design Actions for the Common Good runs from May 24, 2013, until September 1, 2013 in the ground-floor Michigan Avenue Galleries of the Chicago Cultural Center.
