This new bike rack, proposed for the City of New York, is an organizing and visualizing intervention. It reveals, frames, and organizes. It is frozen from a tensed acceleration: conforming, tapering, and inscribing a linear envelope around the bike.

The rack provides three slots, one on every plane, that wrap the bike and allow one to secure it from two points. The rack provides for a range of scales and configurations that allow for a density of bicycles, a maximizing of streetscape, and a visual order and appeal.

The design was submitted to the CityRack Design Competition.
